Hola, Reader, Monday night, I published a blog post I almost couldn't write. Not because I didn't know what to say. Because this story is deeply personal. Nine days earlier, I shared a short video inviting people to travel with me to Cuba—not simply to experience its incredible culture, but to help deliver essential supplies to families in need. I was wearing a blue shirt that read Travel Elevates, and I spoke about baby bottles, rechargeable lights, and the simple things many of us rarely think twice about. More than 750 people watched. No one commented. For a moment, I wondered if anyone had truly heard what I was trying to say. Then, on Saturday morning, I looked at my living room floor. It was covered with baby bottles for my two nieces, rechargeable lights, mosquito nets, fans, and everyday items that had become extraordinary gifts because of the generosity of people who chose to help. One by one, friends, former clients, colleagues, and supporters quietly stepped forward. As I write this, 13 people have contributed $1,250 toward this humanitarian journey. Then yesterday, my sister sent me a message. "Mamá texted me. She is feeling better." I cried. A few moments later, she shared another piece of news that changed everything. My two nieces are expected to welcome their babies around September 9–14. The very same dates I had planned for this humanitarian journey. Those dates are no longer just dates on my calendar. They now represent two new lives entering the world. That is why I finally sat down and wrote the story I had been carrying in my heart.
