✨ How an Unexpected Injury Changed My Perspective on Travel in the Galápagos ✨

Dear Reader,

My latest Galápagos blog post is now live!

As many of you know, I’ve spent the last several weeks exploring the incredible Galápagos Islands in Ecuador. While I expected to come home with stories of wildlife, volcanic landscapes, and unforgettable adventures, I didn’t expect one of my biggest takeaways to come from an injury.

After hurting my foot during the expedition, I spent the final days of the trip relying on medical care, accessibility services, and the kindness of countless people along the way. What could have been a stressful experience became a powerful reminder of how important compassionate service and thoughtful planning are when we travel.

As a travel advisor, I’ve helped many clients who require mobility assistance, but experiencing those services firsthand gave me a completely new perspective. From the expedition team in the Galápagos to airport staff in Ecuador and the United States, I saw how much coordination and care go into making travel possible for everyone.
